Definitely self-taught. You really can't copy what a teacher or someone else draws to know how to do it... lessons just never really connect with me because they show how to draw one thing in one position and in one style. I just end up making random observations from life and incorporating them into my drawings.

Oh, well that's interesting. When did you get so good with drawing such realistic art and stuff? Faces, shading, etc. Is it mostly self taught or classes?

Hmmm... that's complicated.

I remember copying Sailor Moon drawings inexpertly in second grade or so, but I really wanted to start drawing once I read Lord of the Rings in 4th grade and found Elfwood (it's like dA but for fantasy... I didn't join it because I wasn't old enough). I drew elves and stuff and wanted to be better, so I stared obsessively on Elfwood. Now I never visit it, though.

Generally OK, but disliking zero hour. That may change in the summer if the sun is at least up on the drive to school.

Speaking of 0 hours, what was that one class that was like a history/English combo or something? I've gotten into Chorale aka Concert Choir and Dr. Anderson will get really mad at me if I don't take Barbershop because... well... next year I'm going to be the only tenor. That being said, it seems impossible for me to take all the core classes and two choirs and avoid a zero hour Calc AB. So...?

I guess 0 hour isn't that bad. It just limits my going to bed time to 10 (or 9 if I didn't have homework). So I can't work late.
