This week, I think it was Tuesday, our tenor in barbershop got sick. Which means the only other tenor was me. And then the teacher said that we'd be doing double quartets on Thursday (which means, yes, both tenors have to sing the whole time... those leads have it easy). So I was hoping she'd get better by Thurs (the next barbershop day)

And then she was absent on Wed during Chorale. And then I got sick on Wed.

And so we sang in the double quartets, both sick, and my throat involuntarily twitching because the notes seemed to vibrate wrong...

And then Kaci came back (on Wed). She graduated last year, so everyone was happy and huggy and stuff. She was our tenor and her voice is well... amazing. And really loud. It's beautiful.

So then we sang for her. And the tenors were sick.

Yes.

It was quite interesting. That high B-flat did not bode well with my throat.

And now, biology homework. Formatting tables to fit in Microsoft Word is annoying.

And today I picked up a pecan and decided to try to bash it open using various hard surfaces and non-nutcracking devices. I succeeded in cracking it by throwing it at the ground a while and then bashing it against the counter. It's kind of stale, though.
